How to setup a small (low setup cost) electroplating system

I'm a mechanical engineer by profession living in Pakistan. I'm interested in setting up a small unit of electroplating. I need your kind guidance and suggestions in this matter and will be grateful to you

Hello, Khurram. Start with the Metal Finishing Guidebook, which will give a good introduction to all of the things that are involved in electroplating. After you have a general familiarity with the technology and vocabulary, you can move on to the Electroplating Engineering Handbook [on AbeBooks or eBay or Amazon affil links] , or retain a consultant to help you with the design, or post specific questions. Unfortunately, building a small plating shop involves too much background and detail to be answered in an internet posting. Good luck.

Before considering a plating installation you should establish your local regulations relating to waste water treatment and chemical disposal.
You might find that the cost and size of treatment plant will influence your decision on a plating installation.
