Zinc plating yellow passivation peel off while bonding with rubber in injection moulding

We are manufacturing rubber to metal bonded gaskets and facing severe problem of yellow passivation peel off (zinc plating) while injection moulding of rubber over metal at 180 Deg C, Is it related with moulding temperature or can anyone please give me idea what parameter needs to be controlled to avoid the same.

Thanks,

Most likely it is due to temperature. Perhaps you should try brass plating instead of passivated zinc.

Passivation peel off is either because of high pH in passivation after plating or high acid fume level in plating shop.
