Coloring zinc sheet to look copper

Dear Sir,

I am as an handycraft hobbyist, usually we use copper plate for the design application, but very expensive price in Indonesia
and now we start to try using zinc sheet this on eBay or Amazon [affil links] .
Here I would like to know...
How I can coloring zinc sheet look as copper color? with out electro plating!
please advise for the chemical composition ( how many reagent?)

Try internet archive website-there you can find download free book on metal colouring by A.Hiorns-old but very good and valuable book(many recipes for colouring of zinc and all other metals)!Hope it helps and good luck!
