What electrode material for nickel electrowinning?
For copper electrowinning, stainless steel cathodes and lead anode are being used throughout the whole world.
I would like to know the material of electrodes currently used in nickel plants.

For the anode the choices are graphite or lead, choice will depend on the composition of your solution (chloride / sulphate usually). However both of the materials mentioned may have longevity issues
(amoungst others) and some would prefer to use a DSA which can have a lifetime measured in years if properly cared for.
Cathode choice can depend on whether the electrode is sacrificial or not and the adhesion of your plating. I understand that mild steel is quite common, although I have also heard of carbon or nickel mesh.
