Composition details of chrome plating

Dear Sir,
I have good experience in Nickel Plating but new to chrome plating. I want to know how to prepare chrome plating solution(ratio) If I get this details, I can be comfortable in my job. I will be grateful to you if you do the needful.

The oldest and least proprietary formulation, the Sargent bath, is 28 to 36 oz/gallon of chromic acid plus 1 part of sulfuric acid per 100 parts chromic acid. More info is in the Metal Finishing Guidebook or just about any plating textbook. Good luck.

Dear Leo Christopher,
In addition to the above, remember to maintain the sulphate ratio of exactly 1:100 against the chromic acid content.
You might want to also learn how the bath is treated to keep the sulphate low, contact your Chrome Salt supplier.
