Bioremediation of heavy metal contamination
Dear researchers,
I had screened bacteria for heavy metal resistance and evaluated the mechanisms for bacterial metal resistance. so far I have screened lots of bacterial strains showing high and multi metal resistance.
I am here for knowing the most and very important aspects which is application of these bacterial strains individually or in consortia for bio-remediation of heavy metal contaminated site.
Can any one suggest about selection of contaminated site and methodology for applying the metal resistant bacteria in the contaminated soil.

hi,
I too am a PhD student and my area of work is also heavy metal tolerance.
I feel it will depend on the organism, also in soils usually have metal immobilization.
