How much curing time before cross hatch scribing?
What should be the minimum time after painting to conduct an adhesion (cross Hatch) test?

Bit hard to answer this without further information. Which coating system are you referring to? Powdercoating? Solvent based paint? Air curing? heat curing? Moisture reaction curing?
A generic answer might be that you should cure according to the instructions of the coating system manufacturer.
Its hard to imagine why you might do a cross hatch test before full curing.

Hi,
As Geoff has already stated it is very difficult to give you an answer without more information from yourself. However, a broad answer would be allow 4-6 hours before testing materials that require a heat source and anything up to 7days (amine cured epoxies may take this period before complete cure is achieved) for certain air-drying materials. Again Geoff states, "ask your supplier - what time lapse is required for a full cure to take place?" Alternatively, if the cross hatch is to compare one coating against another and not a specification requirement, then as long as you impose the same strict time limit to every evaluation, say 30 mins, then time lapse is not so important.
