Need procedure to PVDF line inside MS tank

Q. Hi I would like to give 3mm thick PVDF lining in two layers inside an MS tank for storing HF and HNO3 for using as a cleaning tank for SS materials. Please guide me with which material to bond the sheets to the ms tank. I will fuse the corners/joints by hot air fusion. please suggest any advanced method of lining available.
thank you

A. Hi M A Raju !

I'm somewhat against a liner for your purpose ...mainly because 3 mm thickness is really TOO thin for good welding, presuming that you have perfect thermoplastic welders.

Why not make the tank entirely from, say, PVDF or HALAR which should have a special backing and to allow itself to be fibreglassed. Then run a conductive strip around all welds before fibreglassing. Use a minimum of 1/8" thickness.
