Prevention of tarnishing of copper

My husband and I recently had an underbed dresser made. We had the drawer fronts covered with copper and had the handles made out of copper. We really like the bright copper finish but we know it will change color eventually and we will have to polish all 24 drawers again. Is there anything we can apply to prevent the copper from changing color?

Your furniture sounds beautiful. Copper and brass will tarnish very quickly unless protected.

Everbrite Protective Coating is an easy to apply, one part, self leveling clear coating that will protect your copper or brass from oxidation for many years and can be maintained indefinitely. It can be wiped or sprayed on. You can get more details at our website or feel free to contact me for more information.

I am a homeowner and was wondering if you found something that would prevent the tarnishing on your copper.
we have a backsplash in our kitchen that is in need of it.
