Zinc plating 1060 steel
2000
I would like to seek your advise as to which type of zinc plating should be done on a 1060 steel.
- Diameter: 4.7m
- Length: 4 inches
- Hardness: 52-55HRC
Desired finish: matte finish
What kind of pickling solution is needed? Is there anyway of avoiding embrittlement? How do we know if it has embrittled?
Thank you in advance.
