How to remove chrome from AA RAC badges

I would like to know how I can remove chrome from an AA & RAC Badge.

Please explain what you are trying to do, Christoper, i.e., what you hope to have when you are finished. Then you may be able to get a useful answer. Because the short answer is that it's easy to remove the chrome but you will probably be disappointed with what you see when you are done: nickel plating which looks very similar to chrome.

Hi Chris,

Have a gander @ # 12044.

Ed. note: We see that Freeman has pointed you to one of the gems of our little collection here. One of the longest, most rambling, funniest, most disgusting, odes to dogs, chrome, muriatic acid, and Randy Fowler you'll ever find.
