Powder-coating vs. electropainting?
I am restoring an antique Volkswagen, and have been told that the wheels need to be powder-coated. From what I've seen on TV, however, powder coating can chip? Is electropainting better? OR, can I clean and paint the wheels myself, then apply a clear-coat?

Anything can chip, Don. Best would be electrocoating followed by powder coating. That's because electrocoating will miss nothing but powder coating is thicker and more robust.
