CrN stripping by chemicals




I want to use chemicals to strip the CrN coating on the stainless steel by PVD.I tried chlorhydric acid, which can strip CrN but not completely.And I tried alkali and KMnO4,still can not strip the CrN completely.Can anybody give me some advice?
