Chrome finished shifter on Audi is scratched
I have a chrome-finished transmission shifter surround on my Audi Allroad. It gotten quiet scratched. Some are quite deep. Is there any way to remove these or minimize them.

Buy a new one is the cheapest method. You could have it professionally rechromed, but it will take several days and will cost a lot more. A poor alternative is to paint it with one of the new chrome like paints.
