Environmental concerns/effluent disposal from Zinc phosphate treatment
We are keen to evaluate the environmental issues and also the disposal of effluents when we use zinc phosphate coatings?
Kindly give complete details and oblige

Perhaps another resident of Mumbai can alert you to the effluent regulations, Aun, but such regulations differ from area to area and country to country. Generally you will need to remove the heavy metals (probably mostly zinc) by neutralization, precipitation, and clarification or filtration. Additionally there is probably a limitation of what quantity or percentage of phosphates you can discharge.
