De-ionising Water Unit Operations

I want to enquire about a problem we are facing in the Powder Coating plant. The De-ionising Water Unit which is used to regenerate de-ionising water is not functioning. The Problem we have is that it is not sucking chemicals both ways from the Cation and Anion tanks. I want to know the probable causes so that I can try to rectify the problem.

It sounds like your DI system uses eductors to draw in acid and caustic. Problems with eductors are usually related to either inadequate feed pressure, or more often, a high back-pressure due to fouling in the ion exchange resin tanks.
