How to Remove Nickel Plating from SS

I have a part that's made from Stainless Steel and had been nickel plated. What's the best way of removing this Nickel Plating from this SS part?

Probably best to have a plater do this.

If you have chemicals, EPA ID, hazmat & waste treatment permits & safety training: Nitric acid, 50 vol%, plus a bit of concentrated hydrogen peroxide added to prevent noxious red fumes. For small parts, use a 2-gallon polyethylene pail inside a 5-gallon pail. Pails with lids will allow storing the solution.
