Gold ring in hydrogen peroxide -- turned dark brown HELP!

I was using plaster of paris the other day, and I accidentally kept my rings on. So I left them in hydrogen peroxide overnight, now they are stained a dark brown! Any idea's on regaining the color back? thanks

hydrogen peroxide this on eBay or Amazon [affil links] is an oxidizer and more than likely caused oxidation (discoloration) of the base metal in the gold alloy. You could try repolishing the ring with a jewelers polishing cloth or take to a local jewelry repair shop and have it re-polished. Be careful what you use to clean your jewelry.

Good Luck,
