The owner's manual usually covers this if you look hard enough and if they are OEM, Erick. If they are real chrome plating, and odds are good they are, the plastic will stand up to anything you would reasonably put on a car, including strong detergents, aggressive brushing, and tar-removal solvents. The plastic may not stand up to the last though.
Interior plastic parts are rarely real chrome like exterior parts though. Interior parts are usually vacuum metallized.
