Emissivity of electroless nickel
Black electroless nickel plating will solve many of our problems, however, we need good emissivity (equal to plain carbon steel or 0.4 emissivity). We can tolerate a plated rough surface to enhance the emissivity. If there are research papers or some institution that has done testing, etc. I can investigate if pointed in the general direction. The Nickel Development Institute has been some help.

Why not black chrome, whose emissivity is well researched and documented, over EN or electroplated nickel, for that matter.
