Pad Printing on Electroless Nickel Plating

Recently we have developed Electroless Nickel plated Tubes ( Basic Raw Material is EN 1A Free Cutting steel) with a different source and are facing problems in Pad printing the tubes (we print with Black color)
For Pad printing the tubes we use ME6 commercial grade electrolyte supplied by Universal Marking systems limited England.
Please let me know what may be the route cause of the problem.
Is it because of the phosphorous level varying in the plating solution?
Kindly suggest and do please publish also.
Thanks for the valuable suggestions.

One of the reasons may be pad printing is carried on non-porous surfaces. Your plating deposits may be more porous. As a result of which wet-on-wet printing may be little distorted. But this is definitely not due to varying phosphorous content.
