How to Bead Blast (or etch) continents on Stainless Steel Balls 5" - 18"

Please, help me with your advise - what would be the best way to make impression of continents (by Bead Blasting or Etching) on Mirror polished Stainless Steel hollow Balls 5" / 16" / 18" Dia. Production must be fast, quality high and consistent. Is there a machine available to do that ?
I would be very grateful for any suggestions !

It would be nice to know if these parts get painted, plated or is it the final finish. I suspect that uniformity is important; therefore, blasting maybe out. Etching maybe be difficult to control but mass finishing might be best.
