Galvanized Roofing
Hi all from Tappahannock, VA!
Opening a restaurant, and have a project that I am working on. Am putting a roof front over my counter, and do not want that glaring newness of galvanized metal!
I need to age four sheets of 3' X 8' galvanized roofing. (the corrugated sheets) How can I do this in a timely manner. Is there a way to just take off the shiny newness, and also a separate way to look rusted? Not sure which look I want. This is for inside the restaurant.
If ever in town, stop by the Virginia barbecue and say "hi"!
Thanks!

If galvanized = zinc plated by immersion in molten zinc, try 2 teaspoons copper sulphate ⇦ this on eBay or Amazon [affil links] , 1 teaspoon salt, 200 ml water solution. 20% iron chloride solution must work too. Hope it helps and good luck!
