Problem with nickel plating
Please help. I'm a hobbyist. my problem is that when I nickel plate a piece it doesn't become mirror finished. my solution consist of nickel sulphate + ammonium sulphate ⇦ this on eBay or Amazon [affil links] + magnesium sulphate + boric acid,with a temperature of 38 °C. I got that formula from a book.

You are missing a brightener component. You also need the correct amperage per sq ft for the part and you need good agitation of the part or the solution for quality work.
