Hard Anodising Process
Sir,
With due respect I want to know about right process for Hard Anodising (Black Dye) mentioning name of chemicals with strength, Time, temperature, Voltage, Ampere etc.
As I have to start the Plant for anodising of components which may be used for Automobile industries.
Quick response will be highly appreciated.
Thanking you,
Yours Sincerely

True hard anodizing is not dyed, Inu. That is not quite the same thing as saying that hard anodizing is never dyed; rather it takes into account the fact that dyed coatings must be sealed, and sealing softens the anodizing.
Anodizers usually have the book "The Surface Treatment and Finishing of Aluminum and its Alloys" on hand. This is a two-volume set of more than 1200 pages -- which is my way to say I apologize but it is impossible to provide full answers to your questions within the brevity appropriate to a forum like this. For example, it is one thing to tell you that the temperature should be 28 degrees F, but it is quite another for you to understand everything that is really required to hold that temperature at the surface of the part. You must seek hands-on help from a person experienced in this; if that is impossible, a lot of reading might eventually get you there but it will take a long time. Good luck.
