Galvanic Corrosion - 6061-T6 and A36 Steel

We've got a structure that is primarily comprised of A36 Steel, which will be painted, and some cross members made of 6061-T6 Aluminum (also painted). Contact areas will be no more than about a 4"x3" area where they cross. Mating hardware would be zinc plated steel. Is there anything I should look to do to isolate the steel from the aluminum or should the paint suffice? This is not likely to see a lot of moisture, internal application in a dry climate.

This should not be a problem in a dry application environment, since the paint on the steel is a good barrier to galvanic corrosion. You might consider placing a plastic film between the two components in the contact area to further isolate the two metals.
