Chrome Nitriding coating any alternative

Dear Sir,

We are currently using OHNS material for tools and are chrome plated.
Few times we also do Chrome nitriding coating.
Kindly advise any alternative coating available after heat treatment 58 HRC.

Dear Mr.Sameer

Is it for Tableting punches . 58 Hrc means ,the tempering temperature is may be at 230 °C.

Mr. Sameer I will suggest you , if it is for tableting punches it is better to go for CrN or Boron carbide.

Go for a coaters where they have a fine tune in temperature control.since it is a OHNS material it may have contraction or elongation if temp overshoots during coating process.
