Deburring and polishing thin brass parts by vibratory or rotating tumbler

I am researching methods of polishing and deburring thin (.020) brass parts. I currently use a buffing wheel process but would like to understand the ins and outs of alternative methods. I have a small manufacturing concern and would like to be able to process around 10 lbs of parts at a time, the parts averaging 2 to 3 square inches each. The parts will be either plated or painted on one side afterwards, so I have to be able to effectively clean them of all residue. Where do I start looking? Can this be done on a "shoestring" budget?

Are these basically flat parts and what kind of surface finish? The volume can be processed in our 1/4 cubic foot machine system. For deburring, I suggest plastic media for a wet process and treated organic materials if the parts are flat.
