Non-Cyanide Zincate for Aluminum
I am a continuous plater, and I am starting to get requests for continuous tin plating of aluminum strip stock. It looks like I will need to look into the use of a Zincate for the aluminum as a pre treat before tin plating. Most of the advice on the web involves the use of cyanide based zincates. A couple of my vendors do provide non-cyanide zincates, and that looks like what I will use. Has anybody done continuous aluminum electroplating before, and if so, please include a general process that was used. It is very important that I avoid the use of cyanide in this case, as I have yet to use it for any application in my shop, and do not look forward to doing so. Thank You in advance for all suggestions.

Since they want tin on top,it would be a better galvanic couple to just use the proprietary stannate to start the plating.
