STEEL FOR SEA WATER APPLICATION
We are looking for a steel/stainless steel material which does not corrode in sea water when exposed for long durations and under high stress and room temperature. This will be used to simulate deep sea conditions for testing of components.Alternatively suitable coatings may be suggested on steel surface.

A US Navy deep dive unit used a lot of 316 and 316L that had been passivated or electropolished. If in contact with other metals, it may/will rust.
