What is the voltage requirement for a electrocoagulator?

2007

Dear Sir,

I am a engineering student doing project on "electrocoagulation powered by solar energy"
I would like to know the requirements of the small scale prototype.I need the information about the voltage requirement, different types of metal plates that can be used, pheasibility of the project and is it cost effective than the conventional alum treatment plants or not?

please sir,I kindly request you to send me as much information as you can send.

Thanking you.

Electrocoagulation is a very wide ranging technique. You gove absolutely no information on its applications or uses, so no-one knows what you want. The purpose of a student being given these projects is to teach them to think for themselves and not be reliant on others giving them the answers. I suggest you spend more time doing your own searches and less time waiting for others to do it for you. Saying all that, depending on what you are using the technology for, you will require a power rating between 1W and 100W and this will require a voltage of between 1V and 230V - even higher if you use RF voltages!
