Clear Coating for my Copper Top Bar
I just finished getting my Bar top covered in copper sheeting. I want to maintaing the original shine of the copper rather than to let it Patina. What products are out there that I could use and that can easily be found. Would Varathane, Polyurethane work or will the copper react and distort with those products.

I have a copper bar top to coat and was wondering what you used and how it went.

Levi,
I recommend sealing the copper bar top with a base coat of lacquer followed by flood coat of commercial bar top epoxy. The lacquer seals the surface and allows the epoxy to adhere better. This will give you a glossy bar top appearance that is very durable.
