Solution for electronic waste
Hi,
I am kathiresan pursuing (b.tech) Biotechnology in Anna University affiliated college in Tamilnadu in INDIA. I am keen to solve the problem on electronic waste. I am going to work on biosorption of heavy metals from electronic waste. It's a new topic in my country and hard to get resources but I want to resolve this issue. My problem here is to collect the electronic waste from landfills that contains toxic heavy metals such as lead, mercury and cadmium. But in my country there is no such landfill sites. Please anyone give some idea to solve my problem. Send your valuable suggestions.

I'm kind of lost. You want to solve a problem that you say doesn't exist? There are no toxic waste sites but you want to absorb the toxic metals from them? There are certainly millions of people in China handling e-waste on their front porch if there is none in your country. I think a trip to China might be a good part of this education you are seeking. Good luck.
