Phosphating process

Sir
I am a vendor to Punjab Tractors Limited Mohali Punjab. I am manufacturing the Brake Disk for them. It is a Graded Casting product, that is faced on both sides, and then drilled. Now we are being asked to phosphate this item. what process would you recommend for this, that is economical and effective. The weight is 3.5 kg per piece having diameter 12 inches.

If you do not have any experience with phosphating I would suggest you contact a local treatments shop and get them to quote for treating the parts for you.

If you are determined to do it yourself then you will need to contact a phosphate supplier in your area and ask them to help you to set up a phosphating line.

You can use Iron phosphate because it is best for wear and tear material or material where friction of material mostly required.

Sir jee,
If you offer me a job, I can resettle in India and set this plant up for you ... that way I can come back to my home country.'

Hahahah, its simple...Just consult a metal finishing house and they can set up for you. But you may need additional tanks, heating equipment, labour, racking, space etc...
