POWDER COATING ON ZINC COMPONENT

Dear Sir,
Can you guide us in powder coating on zinc pressure diecast component- 1)what type of powder should be used for powder coating
2) what temperature it should be baked and what type of processing of pretreatment should be carried out.
regards

Zinc phosphatizing is probably the most appropriate pretreatment, but the temperature depends on the type of powder, and the type of powder depends on the application more than the substrate. Indoors, outdoors, exposed to sunlight? Hardness and scratch resistance required? Range of colors?

Dear Mr,SriRam
Pl don't use epoxy-polyester(hybrid) powder coating for outdoor/ in direct sunlight because hybrid powder coatings are not suitable for outdoor(chemistry part of resins/pigments and additives will be responsible for UV protection).you can use polyester-TGIC or TGIC free powder for outdoor.
thanks and regards,
