Recommended Stainless Steel Alloy for Electrode Hooks
What series SS is recommended for hooks on carbon (graphite) electrodes in an anodic surface activation (etch) tank with solution make-up of sulfuric (25%) and hydrofluoric (4%) acids?

No SS alloy will withstand nitric/HF for long. Use graphite electrodes which extend up out of the solution and plastisol-coated monel hooks.
