What search term do I use to find out about "rebrassing" small decorative items?

I have a solid (I believe) brass, 1950's candy dish that I would love to refurbish, or have refurbished. An 8-1/2" circle design, it is about 4" from the bottom of its 3 brass ball feet to the top if its brass ball handle -- which needs to be reattached. It is not very tarnished, just some age spots and its shine isn't shining. This may or may not be a place to ask this question but can someone please tell me HOW to search for/obtain information and direction on this? I'm stumped.

Thank you.

I would suggest that you look in the phone book or Thomas Register for antique refinishing/repairing or silver platers. Most will handle repairs and will strip, polish and lacquer brass.
