Effect of stainless steel fasteners on aluminum
I live within two miles of salt water and have aluminum glass sliding doors to install. I would like to know if stainless fasteners would best be used to avoid electrolysis and corrosion or would galvanized be a better option.

Best would be aluminum fasteners -- then there would be no galvanic corrosion. But neither galvanized nor stainless should be a real problem in a non-critical application; anodized aluminum does not suffer from galvanic corrosion as much as many other materials do.
