Corrosion prevention on mild steel

Hello sir,

I'm a student and working on plasma assisted chemical vapour deposition.My project involves teflon like coating on mild steel during that I have encountered problem of corrosion.This is done by pyrolising Teflon scrape.Can you suggest me any method for corrosion prevention on mild steel.

Will you please explain in detail.

What is the cleaning process you have followed for that. how much is the coating thickness you are offering .is corrosion formed before or after coating .
