Sodium Dichromate Dihydrate contamination in Cadmium plating vat

We have accidentally added 2.5 kg of Sodium Dichromate Dihydrate (part of the Chrome passivation makeup)to our high strength steel Cadmium plating vat (500l vat.). Could anyone offer advice on:- The effect on plating and or methods of treating the vat to either complex out the Chromium (i guess this is the problem) or try to preferentially plate it out.

Oops. That's a lot of hex chrome. You're pretty much SOL. Dump the bath and replace it.

For aerospace work you really have no option but to change the bath.
Would you fly in an aircraft with parts plated in that brew?

SOD.HYDROSULFITE/SOD.METABISULFITE/SOD.BISULFITE.
EXACT AMOUNT SHOULD BE DETERMINED IN HULL CELL. THEN ADDED TO BATH.
