Silkscreen mesh line appear on printed surface

Hi there,

We are doing reverse printing here, meaning background is printed, but lettering is base material (zinc plate steel plate).

Lines or mesh pattern sometime appear on printed area, both before and after 180 °C temperature curing. because printed area is large and black in color, these lines or mesh pattern is very obvious.

We had tried a few type of mesh, but line sometime still appear. if we put the screen away, and use again another day, the line don't appear.

this is a random problem.

Could it be cause by the pressure during printing, or operating temperature?

If you are getting mesh mark randomly, it has more to do with temperature. When the temperature is higher, the ink viscosity gets lowered and hence the printed ink flows better so you do not get mesh marks.
