Electrolytic Ni/Au

2006

Hi!
My name is Emily and I'm doing my thesis on PCB. I would like to know where can I find more details on electrolytic Ni/Au such as its bath, solution and experimental set up. I will be doing on two types of surface finish, namely ENIG and electrolytic Ni/AU.
Can anyone please help?
thanks,

ENIG stands for electroless nickel & immersion gold which serves as a final finishing on PCB (mainly on SMT pads, BGA pads for soldering and aluminium wire bonding).

Simply type ENIG and electrolytic nickel gold plating in major search engines then you can find useful info like bath composition, process flow/control, troubleshooting, etc.
