Gold plating over stainless steel and brass watches
We are importing completed solid stainless steel and brass watches from China. What is the necessary intermediary coats and necessary thicknesses (microns)over stainless steel and brass respectively to achieve min 2 years wear resistance ?

Please give 2-5 microns woods nickel strike. Then plate sulphamate nickel 2-5 microns. Thereafter you can do any kind of plating.
