Slime in water jet system

We have a waterjet machine and there is a buildup of slime in filter system, main catcher tank and filters seem to clog very quickly. The water gets grey-ish and did not precipitate out. I removed all the water from the system(2500 gal) washed all surfaces with bleach and copper sulphate, changed all the hoses and filters and refilled the system. Within 3 days the slime which I thought was Algae came back. Water comes from a well. I installed an electronic Algae system which has no effect on the slime.

what direction should we go.
