Decoating CrN from Al substrate

Dear sirs,

I have to remove a PVD CrN coating from an Al substrate.

Please, can you help me to find a way to preserve my substrate?

Thank you in advance.

best regards,

Use 900 ml DI water+ 100 gr NaOH + 15 gr Deconex 940 composition at room temperature for de-coating of CrN layer on steel substrates. I don't think this can be usable for Aluminium substrates. But you try once with scrap and feel result.

Ed. note: Thank you, YV, but please try to tell us the nature of the additive that you recommend adding 15 grams of, rather than giving a trade name.
