Silane-Zr sealers for use to prepare galvanizing for powder coating
My name is Brent Sievers. We want to find a process to coat galvanized steel with powder paint. A response to a previous question from Roger Bridger (Walterisation LTD - Croydon, Surrey, UK CR9 4HT)suggests using an iron phosphate pretreatment followed by a silane-Zr sealer. I would like to find more information on these silane-Zr sealers.

Most paint pretreatment companies have what you're looking for, but you'll not get much direct info about it. Some I'm sure have this type of product include:
Oakite [Chemetall], Henkel, Calgon (Nalco now), Texo, and Brent.
This is fifteen year old technology, most companies have it or similar products, just make sure that you describe your needs and choose the right material, it may not be this one.
