Water based polyurethanes- flexible film former - emulsifier? - additives?
I am a student doing a project on water based polyurethanes for top coats on leather. My aim to make a PU that is a flexible film former with a molecular weight of 10,000 to 1,00,000. could any one suggest a suitable emulsifier and what HLB value is needed? what additives and cross linkers are recommended to make the resultant film water resistant? I would be grateful to anyone who could help me out on this.
thank you.
