Removing Nickel from Brass components
I am a restorer of antique brass and iron beds. Some of the brass components are Nickel coated. As the Brass is more popular it would be desirable to remove the Nickel coating and leave the Brass (or replate over the Nickel with brass).
How do I go about doing this.
I have a chemistry background (and actually work in a chem lab) but am not familiar with electrochemistry.
If anybody could help with any procedures on how do this it would be most appreciated.
thanks
