How to make ferric chloride solution from its powder to apply in clarifier

2006

All solid in wastewater settled in clarifier.
physical condition (temperature 60 oC, solid inlet 700-900 ppm)

we would like to apply ferric chloride this on eBay or Amazon [affil links] to help setlling of solids in clarifier.
I don't now how to make solution ferric chloride this on eBay or Amazon [affil links] .
if FeCl3 + H2O ---= Fe(OH)3 sediment

so, how to make solution without sediment formation and applicable in wastewater settling.

Dissolve the ferric chloridethis on eBay or Amazon [affil links] in acidic solution, e.g., dilute sulfuric acid.
You will get better dispersion by adding to the wastewater in an acidic stage (if present in your treatment). At higher pH, rapid stirring is necessary.

Acidic ferric chloridethis on eBay or Amazon [affil links] solutions are extremely corrosive, so plastic piping may be necessary.
