I just received an inquiry from a buyer where he requires me to Hard Coat Teflon Impregnate Aluminum Die Cast Component? Could you please give me some idea how to go about it?
Thank You

Some people question whether teflon impregnation is a misnomer because teflon particles are larger than the pores in the anodized film and therefore cannot impregnate anodized aluminum, only coat it. See letter 1819. But in any event, the operation is done by purchasing a proprietary process specifically designed for the purpose. The referenced letters should get you started. Good luck.

We talk about teflon coating first teflon is the common name for PTFE poly terafluoroethylene and it is fluoro polymers and you can coat the AL metal by spray it by the teflon but after pretreatment and etching the AL surface then you should curing the finish product.
